SDL Trados 2007 SP2 licence is linked to HD or NETWORK CARD identifier. In this case it is linked to network card MAC-address.
So there is nothing easier than to change the MAC-address of the network card.
WARNING!!! If your Internet provider links your account to the network card MAC-address please make sure that you are able to make them change the MAC-address in your account settings, otherwise your computer will not connect to Internet.
Alternatively, if you have two network cards (e.g. a LAN card and a WiFi card), change the MAC-address of the card that you DO NOT use to connect to the Internet via your Internet provider.
In any case, one network card in the computer with the MAC-address
0015e92d5e74
is enough. Just be sure the network card is not off (check it from Control Panel and BIOS Setup).
The procedure is as follows:
1. Change your network card MAC-address using SMAC. Use the MAC-address in
WI-FI_Adaptor\MAC.txt
file.
Reboot the computer. After reboot check with SMAC that the new MAC-address is
0015e92d5e74.
2. Copy
license.lic
from
WI-FI_Adaptor
folder to your HD.
3. Double-click on
SDLTrados2007_PRO_SP2_835.exe,
choose
