对2003年至2004年在欧洲核子研究中心进行的NA48 / 2实验收集的1.69×107完全重建的“ 0”→“ e + e”衰变候选样本进行了分析,以寻找产生于该区域的暗光子(Aâ)。 “ 0”→“ A”衰减,接着出现提示“ A” e + e”衰减。 没有信号被观察到,并且在暗光子质量mA平面和混合参数φ2中建立了一个排除区域。 在质量范围9 MeV / c2 <mA·<70 MeV / c2中,对µ2的获得的上限比以前的限制更为严格。 还评估了NA48 / 2对K±Δ€±Aâ€衰变中暗光子产生的敏感性。

A sample of 1.69 × 10

fully reconstructed π
0
→ γ e
+
e
−
decay candidates collected by the NA48/2
experiment at CERN in 2003–2004 is analyzed to search for the dark photon ( A
) production in the π
0
→
γ A
decay followed by the prompt A
→ e
+
e
−
decay. No signal is observed, and an exclusion region in
the plane of the dark photon mass m
A
and mixing parameter ε
2
is established. The obtained upper limits
on ε
2
are more stringent than the previous limits in the mass range 9MeV/c
2
< m
A
< 70 MeV/c
2
. The
NA48/2 sensitivity to the dark photon production in the K
±
→ π
±
A
decay is also evaluated.
