This system's development facilitates more convenient and efficient access to drug sales system information, making the information more systematic and organized. The system interface is user-friendly and easy to operate. The background and significance of the drug sales system are discussed in the introduction. With the rapid growth of the pharmaceutical industry, there is an increasing need for efficient and automated systems to manage sales, inventory, and customer interactions. The purpose of this system is to streamline the processes involved in drug sales, from managing user accounts to handling orders and providing customer support. The development technology used includes JSP (JavaServer Pages), a server-side scripting language that allows dynamic content generation. It works in conjunction with Java Servlets to provide a robust platform for web application development. JSP provides a clean separation between the presentation layer and the business logic, making it easier to maintain and update the system. The choice of MySQL as the database management system is due to its popularity, reliability, and performance in managing large amounts of data. It is well-suited for web applications, offering robust transaction support and efficient data retrieval mechanisms. In the requirement analysis section, the functional requirements of the system are outlined. These include user registration and authentication, doctor and administrator account management, drug information storage and updating, drug categorization, order processing, and delivery tracking. The system also needs to have a secure payment gateway integration for transactions. The feasibility study investigates technical, operational, and economic factors to ensure the viability of the proposed system. Technical feasibility checks if the available hardware and software resources can support the development and deployment of the system. Operational feasibility assesses whether the system can be easily integrated into existing workflows and staff can adapt to using it. Economic feasibility considers the cost-benefit ratio, ensuring the project is financially viable. In the function and business process analysis, the flow of actions and interactions between different roles (admin, users, and doctors) is detailed. This includes processes such as adding, editing, and deleting drugs, managing user accounts, handling orders, and performing administrative tasks. The ER (Entity-Relationship) diagram visually represents the relationships between entities in the database, while the data dictionary provides a comprehensive description of each data element. The data flow diagram illustrates the flow of information through the system, showing how data is processed and transformed. The detailed design phase describes the implementation of individual modules, including the UI design, database schema, and algorithms used. System screenshots showcase the actual interface and functionality of the application. Testing ensures the system meets the specified requirements and is free from bugs. This involves unit testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing to validate the system's functionality, performance, and usability.
