BMC Remedy API
This document is intended for software developers who want to use the AR System APIs to further customize AR System. You must know how to write API programs and be familiar with AR System, including the overall architecture and the information in the following guides: Concepts Guide Installation Guide Introduction to Application Development with BMC Remedy Developer Studio Form and Application Objects Guide Workflow Objects Guide Configuration Guide Mid Tier Guide Integration Guide Error Messages Guide Database Reference Optimizing and Troubleshooting Guide In addition, you should be knowledgeable about the operating system for your environment and have some experience with client/server applications and plug- ins. This guide assumes that you are proficient in C programming and are familiar with arrays, pointers, structure types, and allocated memory. To use the XML import and export functions, you should be knowledgeable about XML.
