1 Overview
1.1 General Description
The CR600 is a high performance MCU with broadband PLC (Power Line Communication). It has
built-in PLC MAC/PHY which speed is up to 240Mbps. The CR600 is designed to connect a wide range of
home network devices in a flexible manner using existing residential electrical wiring. Its capabilities
include transmission of high-definition video and other broadband content.
A build-in high performance low power CPU handing system task and communicates with PLC
MAC/PHY. Extensive I/O interfaces are provided for different IOT (Internet of Things) hardware and
application development.
CR600 has built-in TCP/IP stack to support Ethernet standard. Thanks to compatibility with the
ubiquitous Ethernet standard, the CR600 can be easily connected to network-enabled products such as
broadband networks, televisions, and computers anywhere there is an electrical outlet simply by
supporting the Internet protocol (IP), which already enjoys widespread use.
CR600 can be used as a PLC/Ethernet transparent transmission bridge with high-quality QoS support.
CR600 also can be used as an Application Processor to handle different sensor/control/IOT applications.
