• Absolute and dynamic temperature limitation with controlled restart
• Overcurrent protection (tripping) with Programmable Restart Control and Current Threshold

• Proportional load current sense multiplexed
• Open Load in ON and OFF state
• Short circuit to ground and battery
• Diagnosis feedback via SPI

The BTS71040-4ESE is a SPI Power Controller, providing protection functions and diagnosis. The device is
integrated in SMART7 technology.
