Introduction
This report, which leverages Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence, Usage Intelligence, and
Pathmatics data explores the Brand app space in the U.S. Brand Apps are defined as apps of non-
web and non-mobile-first brands that started in physical locations and do not require an online
platform for basic business operation.
The analysis includes:
• Brand App Download trends from January 2019 through June 2022
• Ad spend for selected Brand advertisers
• Active user data for selected Brand apps
