Smart Robot Some people think that we will be able to build robot girls who can love. It sounds something out of a science fiction movie, right now. But we may see a time where human tissue is integrated with electronic and computer devices. That means we human beings can create machines that can think and look like humans. Scientists are already working on creating really smart machines that could change the way you live your life. Can you see yourself doing any of this? (2) Sitting in a car that drives itself. Running yourself a hot tub bath while heading home on a bus. Feeding the cat while you're out shopping. All you need to do is push a button. How about instructing a household robot? Playing football with one? (3) If it sounds strange now, brace yourself. It could soon be your reality. Scientists are working to build smart machines that understand speech and copy human thought. And some people think that eventually robots will become almost like people and they are waiting for that to happen. But the problem which should be solved first is how you can tell if a machine is thinking? If we're interested in building a thinking, conscious machine, we also need to know first how the brain does it. And the British computer scientist Alan Turing said a computer deserves to be called intelligent if it can deceive a human being into believing that it was human. Up to now, no machine has passed the test yet. So I guess in that sense, those systems that we now have and that are technically used in every day life, like in dish-washers or in monitoring network traffic or things like that, probably don't have very much to do with what we think is actually natural forms of intelligence. However, I think there is a new development, or there are some new, exciting developments within the field of artificial intelligence that don't look at intelligence so much in terms of computation, but in terms of interaction of a physical system ---- you know, an animal, a human or a robot 智能机器人技术正在逐步改变我们对未来的想象。许多人设想能够制造出具有情感的机器人女孩,这在目前看来似乎只存在于科幻电影中。然而,随着科技的进步,人类正试图将电子、计算机设备与生物组织结合,创建出能思考并具有人类外观的机器。 科学家们已经在努力研发极其智能的机器,这些机器有望革新我们的生活方式。想象一下,你可以坐在自动驾驶的汽车里,或者在回家的公交车上预先设定好热水浴缸;外出购物时,通过遥控喂猫;甚至可以指挥家用机器人,与它一起踢足球。这一切不再仅仅是设想,未来很可能成为现实。 人工智能领域的科学家致力于让机器理解语音、模仿人类思维。有些人期待有一天机器人能变得几乎与人无异。但首要解决的问题是如何判断一台机器是否具备思考能力。如果我们要构建有思考和意识的机器,首先需要了解大脑的工作机制。英国计算机科学家艾伦·图灵提出了著名的“图灵测试”,认为如果一台机器能让人信以为它是人,那么它就应当被称为智能。至今,还没有任何机器能完全通过这个测试。 因此,现在日常生活中广泛使用的系统,如洗碗机或监控网络流量等,尽管在技术层面上体现了智能化,但可能并未触及我们所理解的自然形式的智慧。不过,人工智能领域正在出现新的发展趋势,不再仅仅关注计算能力,而是更多地着眼于物理系统的交互——比如动物、人类或机器人之间的互动。 这种新进展意味着人工智能的发展将更加注重实际应用中的智能表现,例如机器与环境、与人的动态互动,这使得机器能够更好地适应和理解周围世界。未来的智能机器人或许不仅限于模拟人类行为,更会具备适应、学习和解决问题的能力,从而在家庭、医疗、教育等各个领域发挥重要作用。 随着技术的不断进步,人工智能和机器人的界限将日益模糊,它们将深入到我们生活的方方面面,提供前所未有的便利。同时,这也带来了伦理、法律和社会问题的挑战,如何确保机器人的智能发展与人类价值观相协调,将成为我们不得不面对的重要议题。
