This thesis investigates the effectiveness of Orthogonal Frequency DivisionMultiplexing (OFDM) as a modulation technique for wireless radio applications. Themain aim was to assess the suitability of OFDM as a modulation technique for afixed wireless phone system for rural areas of Australia. Howevermore general wireless applications is also assessed.
