Abstract
In recent years, with the rapid development of communication services, the
transmission system is necessary to be able to ensure good communication quality, but
also to achieve high data rate transmission system which is a lot of pressure. How to
complete high-quality communications in a limited frequency band has been one goal.
Therefore, as one way to solve this problem, TCM coded modulation and demodulation
techniques are put forward. This technique is based on a subset of the proposed method
of partitioning Ungerboeck on, without changing the original transmission rate and
bandwidth is obtained in significant coding gain. Over the years, the development of
this technology will soon be expanded and extended in various fields, such as multi-user
detection areas and satellite communications fields.
Trellis coded modulation is a modulation and demodulation and error correcting
