Universal Multi-Protocol Single Cable for SAS/PCIe

Abstract: This specification recommends the pinouts to enable a universal internal SAS-4 (pre Rev 0.7) (MiniLink) /
PCIe (OCuLink) cable assembly. It also recommends the pinouts enabling universal cables employing previous SAS
connectors.
This specification provides a common reference for systems manufacturers, system integrators, and suppliers. This is
an internal working specification of the SFF Committee, an industry ad hoc group.
This specification is made available for public review, and written comments are solicited from readers. Comments
received will be considered for inclusion in future revisions of this specification.
Support: This specification is supported by the identified member companies of the SFF Committee.
