You may safely install newer versions of the Trial ======================================================== Installation ======================================================== -1- Shut down Delphi -2- Copy the files in the archive to a temp directory -3- Run MMX*Setup.exe and follow the instructions in the installer. -4- Restart Delphi -5- The Code Explorer views are available from a MMX menu item in the IDE main menu. The Explorer views can be docked in the editor and saved in IDE desktops. -6- To customize the IDE editor commands, check the MMX Properties|Keybindings tab. If you have any problems installing MMX, please check http://www.modelmakertools.com/code-explorer/faq/mmx-install.html for most common problems and resolutions. ======================================================== Upgrading ======================================================== You do not need to uninstall an previously installed (Trial) version before installing this version. It's best to install this version of ModelMaker Code Explorer in a new directory. ======================================================== Using existing MMX settings ======================================================== ModelMaker Code Explorer v10 will offer to use (copy) existing MMX v9 settings. Settings from versions prior to v9 are not entirely compatible. Please, even after existing v9 settings have been converted, check the options when running the first time. (popup menu Properties...) If you wish to copy (=import/edit/export) MMX 5/6/7/8 settings as stored in HKCU\Software\ModelMaker\Midex\5.0 (6.0,7.0,8.0), replace 5.0-8.0 with 10.0 do NOT copy the contents of the "Toolbars" key. ======================================================== Uninstalling ======================================================== Before Uninstalling, shut down Delphi To uninstall ModelMaker Code Explorer, use the Add/Remove programs utility from the Control Panel. Do not manually uninstall the explorer, or you might cause damage to your data and IDE settings.
