Summary of Topics
This new edition of ANSI/UL 758 is being issued to incorporate Miscellaneous Changes; Add a
new 300°C material, Epitaxial Co-Crystalized Alloy (ECA) Perfluoropolymer for Insulations and
Jackets in revised Table 7.1 and revised title to Table 7.5; Add IEC Flame Tests on AWM as new
Sections 45 and 46 and revised Table 3.9; Conductor Material Marking on Tag, revised 51.2(e);
and Marking for Tinsel Conductors, revised 51.2(d).
The new and revised requirements are substantially in accordance with Proposal(s) on this subject dated
December 6, 2013 and March 7, 2014.
