Target Detection
1 Introduction
Radar systems transmit signals and receive echo waves to detect targets as well as
ranging them. The echo waves always contain noises, which has made it uncertain to
detect targets. This can be classified into various detection problems.
2 Basic theories
The detection problem can be modeled as a binary hypothesis problem:

In classical detection problems, we usually use a fixed threshold decided by a fixed
