Design Overview
This reference design demonstrates high-accuracy,
wide-range AC current measurement for a three-phase
motor using the zero-drift architecture of the INA199.
The design also features a low power consumption of
25 mW for a gain stage of 200 as compared to a
discrete solution. The integrated high-precision
resistors inside the INA199 device allow for a much
smaller design footprint and BOM than with a discrete
solution. The design footprint and BOM cost is much
smaller than a discrete solution due to the integrated
high precision resistors inside the INA199.
