1. INSTALLATION
Unzip the BarcodeNet.zip (or BarcodeNet_TRIAL.zip) archive
anywhere, keeping the folder paths, and you'll have a directory
called "Barcode.Net".
If you want to run the web samples, you'll also need to
create an IIS ***VIRTUAL*** directory named "Barcode.Net"
that points to the above real directory "Barcode.Net",
using the admin tool from menu,
Start|Program|Administrative Tools|Internet Info. Services
or
Start|Control Panel|Performance & Maintenance|Internet Info Services
(Note: creating the IIS VIRTUAL directory is absolutely necessary!)
2. DOCUMENTATION
It is in HTML format and starts with doc/index.htm.
3. RUNNING WEB SAMPLES
Just type in your browser's URL field, one at a time,
http://localhost/Barcode.Net/Barcode.aspx
http://localhost/Barcode.Net/BarcodeHandler.aspx
If these two have worked, it means your environment is good.
You can then try these,
http://localhost/Barcode.Net/LiveWebDemo.aspx
http://localhost/Barcode.Net/BarcodeAspxSample.htm
http://localhost/Barcode.Net/BarcodeHandlerSample.htm
4. RUNNING WINDOWS SAMPLES
Just run,
Barcode.Net/bin/Bokai.Barcodes.Sample1.exe
Barcode.Net/bin/Bokai.Barcodes.Sample2.exe
The source code to these two Windows samples are in,
Barcode.Net/Bokai.Barcodes.Sample1
or
Barcode.Net/Bokai.Barcodes.Sample2
To recompile the samples, you'll need to add the file,
bin/Bokai.Barcodes.dll
to each of the projects.
