Design of solar water heating system for a hotel in Zhuhai
Abstract
At present, China's rapid urbanization process, the entire construction industry in the
process of energy consumption is particularly huge, can reach the national industrial energy
consumption of 24%-29%. From the perspective of the history of urbanization, with the rapid
development of urbanization in Europe and the United States, building energy consumption
will far exceed that of chemical, transportation, industrial and other industries, and become
the largest energy consumption in the society, exceeding 33.5% of other industries. Industrial
energy consumption accounts for only a quarter of the world's total energy consumption,
meeting the needs of urban and rural development.Therefore, China's current energy
conservation work is the top priority, and it is one of the most effective measures to solve the
imbalance between the national energy supply and the energy consumption demand of
economic development. Solar energy is a kind of environmental friendly, safe, green and
pollution-free renewable energy.The total amount of resources is huge, which is 170 million
times of the earth's explored coal reserves, and widely distributed, which is consistent with the
grade demand of building energy. However, as the development of solar hot water system in
China starts late and is still in the exploratory stage, the quality of applied products is also
uneven. In the absence of a unified specification, different manufacturers produce products in
the specification, size, specific parameters and other aspects of large differences, customer
demand is often different. Therefore, according to the specific hotel design, the corresponding
Solar water heating system is very important for its practical application.
The hotel in this design adopts closed forced circulation and indirect heating system, which
transfers heat by using solar hot water. When solar energy resources are abundant, cold water
will be heated until the designed hot water temperature is reached, and then it will be supplied
to users. At the same time, air source heat pump will be added as auxiliary heat source to heat
cold water when solar energy resources are scarce. The solar energy system includes: heat
collection system, heat exchange system, heat storage system, hot water system and auxiliary
heat source.
