INSTALLATION OF TAIT PROGRAMMING APPLICATIONS
To install Tait programming applications, follow these
steps:

NOTE for Windows NT, 2000 and XP users:
The current user must have Administrator rights for the
software to install properly.

1. Close any applications that are running.
2. Uninstall any previous versions of the Tait Programming
Applications before installing newer versions.
- You can normally do this by running "Add/Remove Programs"
from the Windows Control Panel.
3. Place the installation CD in the CD drive.
The installation Wizard should start automatically.
- If the installation Wizard does start, select "Run" from
the "Start" menu. Type "d:\setup.exe" (where d: is the
CD-ROM drive letter) and press the "OK" button.
4. The Welcome screen:
This screen may contain information that is relevant to
the installation.
5. The License Agreement screen:
This screen displays the licence agreement.
6. The Choose Components screen:
This screen displays a list of components.
- To display a description of a component, hover your
mouse pointer over it, or click on it.
- To deselect a component, click on its check-box.
- Ensure that the space required is less than the
space available on your computer.
7. The Choose Install Location screen:
This screen displays a default destination folder.
- Press the "Browse" button if you want to change this
folder.
8. The Select Program Folder screen:
The installation Wizard may ask for a Program Folder
name.
- You can use the default folder, enter a new name,
or select an existing folder from the list.
9. Start Copying Files screen:
The installation Wizard may display a screen where you
can verify the settings you have selected.
10. Finish Installation screen:
The installation Wizards may ask that you restart your
computer before you run the Tait programming applications.
