ABSTRACT
In this paper, the broadcast tower front-end overall system architecture is
analyzed, especially studied the code reuse system the technical difficulties with the
actual situation for testing and analysis. In the global rapid development of digital TV
and "triple play" increasingly forward under the historical background, the work is
very important for ensuring the security of the broadcast. Hereby formulate special
tianjin local business code reuse system design and implementation scheme with the
current situation of feasibility study.
According to the characteristics of the soft and hardware requirements and local
business, in terms of hardware, system design use the TANDBERG’s E5710 real-time
coding 9 + 1 road SDI signal and complete MX8400 reuse function; in terms of
software, configured the PSI/SI the related function parameters of the E5710 and
NCC, and support Leitch Panacea 16x4 matrix signal scheduling encoder redundancy
backup automatically and unified management of network management. After
completing system, carries on the function test and record the related data and
conclusions. Among them, found in the process of the encoder switch business
interruption for a long time and rate slower the response of the network security
hidden danger. In the pilot phase, system failure case also confirms this. To eliminate
these problems and avoid emergency process operation of radio and television design
defects of mutual constraint,construct two sets of independent code reuse system to
separate broadcast and television,make the structure more reasonable, level more

terms of hardware, broadcasting code reuse system design use THOMSON’s VIBE
real-time coding 15 road signals and complete Cisco’s DCM reuse function; in terms
of software, configured the function parameters of the VIBE, DCM and simplify
configuration file. Compared with testing, found that the encoder switch efficiency is
greatly improved so as to reduce the impact on air. Finally, according to the
characteristics of the new system, established its business failure emergency process.
This paper, the end of each stage are summarized and the prospects for the
development of digital TV was discussed.
