Abstract
For a long time, people have all wished eagerly to communicate in a kind of
simplest, most relaxed way. And with the development at full speed of the recognition
technology of the pronunciation, the communication between people and computer
becomes simpler and simpler. SALT (Speech Application Language Tags) is a
markup language that take service in open, free patentable access, independent of
platform, it is used for creating the newly application system that is cutover through
speech platform. Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) has considerable and bright
future, while more and more Information Technology has been used in our daily life.
And as a hot domain, ASR based on SALT also will be popular everywhere. The
technology in our development of the Web, you can provide us with a brand-new
ideas to solve, "the SALT WEB-based voice recognition technology applied research"
is the realization of our examples of this new technology to study and practice of good
Study, application, testing, improving and even improve the process.
In this study of the subject, I have primarily responsible for WEB-based speech
recognition features and can operate with voice commands to complete certain basic
functions of the voice response system platform the realization of the need to SALT
technology in ASP.NET pages of the service system.Major work is as follows:
（1）I studied classical HMM algorithm and other algorithms, analysis the merits
of its algorithm.
（2）With a focus on technology of SALT (Speech Applications Language Tags)
that SALT forum will publish recently, this essay brings up the total structure of
Automatic Speech Recognition(ASR) system based on SALT, and expounds the
theory scheme and methods of realization. An Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR)
example system has been developed based on the actual circumstances at small- and
medium-sized enterprises, which has provided a set of software for small- and
medium-sized enterprises that conforms to practice and suits the demand in customer
service. The essay achieves the ASR development based on SALT, and finished the
long-distance arrangement, brings a reliable base for the coming work in the next
round.
（3）This system environment include: Operator System of Windows XPand the
development tools of the Microsoft Visual C#.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, and so on.
The version of SALT1.1 final is the subjective software tool which is used to develop
the speech interface of the web system.
