Media Architects Support
Media Architects is pleased to offer its customers a choice of support plans for our development products. We are striving
to ensure that developers using our tools are able to build high quality applications in the shortest possible time. We want
to provide responsive electronic and telephone support, as well as providing technical information on our BBS,
CompuServe forum and Internet site. In order to meet these goals, we have worked with our customers to develop
support policies that should help us meet varying customer needs even as our installed base and range of products grow.
Standard Support
Customers purchasing development products can always get support from Media Architects electronically: by sending us
questions by fax, CompuServe forum and email, Internet email, or by posting them on our bulletin board service. In
addition, customers will receive complimentary telephone support for one registered user for 30 days from the first time
that user calls for support. After this period, telephone support will be charged at US$20 a call.
Contract Support
Maximize your investment and make sure that you always have it first! Sign up for our Annual Support Agreement (ASA)
and you can be sure that you’ll have the earliest access to new information and products from Media Architects and get a
20% discount off all new purchases.
Customers with an ASA are entitled to:
· Access a special area on our web page or BBS. This is the where we put all the latest information and tools first. This
includes technical tips, updated demo source code, code examples from the documentation, and contributions
from other Media Architects customers. For example, our Mosaic Array Editor is already available here so our
ASA customers can create custom transition effects now. (After some polishing, it will be incorporated in our
MediaKnife products, but why wait?)
· Immediately download all maintenance upgrades from our BBS for any Media Architects’ development product
licensed to the registered user. Plus beta test programs will be announced in the ASA area, so you can apply to
test the latest updates and new products.
Note: An Annual Support Agreement is required for each copy of the product being upgraded.
· Get a 20% discount off list for enhancement releases.
· Get a 20% discount off list for new development products and options introduced by Media Architects during the term
of the support agreement.
· Call us as often as needed for free telephone support.
· OCX product support also includes a hardcopy manual at no extra cost (for products that have a printed manual).
