Introduction
This workshop completes the series of workshops regarding the hinge model. At this
point the hinge model contains all the information necessary to constitute a complete
ABAQUS model. In this workshop you will define and submit an analysis job for the
hinge model, and you will monitor the solution progress. Once the analysis has
completed, you will study the results in the Visualization module.
Note: The replay file CAE/Workshops/Hinge-Mesh.py can be used to generate
the pre-requisite model definitions for this workshop. In the event you were unable to
complete the previous workshop successfully, accidentally deleted your model database
file, etc., do the following: copy the file into a local directory, start ABAQUS/CAE, and
run the script by selecting File→Run Script. Then proceed with the rest of the
workshop.
