Prerequisites - Before attempting to run the project code you will need to ensure that the following software has been installed. 1. Visual Studio 2012 2. RTM Version of Windows 8 When you unzip the code files, the author-created folder structure may disappear. To preserve this structure, do the following: 1. Right-click the zip file and select WinZip and then Extract To. 2. Place the directory structure wherever you want on your computer. 3. Make sure that the Use Folder Names check box is checked. 4. Click Extract. Each zip file has one .sln file that contains multiple projects that are associated with each chapter. There is a separate .zip file for each chapter.
