SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
The minimum requirements needed to use @Air Version 2.0 include:
* Microsoft Windows 3.1x or Windows 95 or Windows NT.
* all hardware requirements imposed by your version of Microsoft Windows.
Windows loads the @Air add-ins into memory whenever needed. Each add-in occupies
roughly 100 K of system memory. This is a modest memory demand relative to most Windows
applications and, by itself, should not prompt a need for memory upgrade.
CONTENTS OF DISKETTES
@Air is distributed on a 1.4 MB 3.5" diskette. The distribution diskette
includes the files listed below:
* AIRPROPS.DLL Dynamic Link Library (DLL) which contains all the air
property calculations for use with 16-bit applications (even when
running under a 32-bit operating system).
* AIRPRP32.DLL Dynamic Link Library (DLL) which contains all the air
property calculations for use with 32-bit systems running 32-bit applications.
* XLAIR.XLL Air property add-in for 16-bit versions of Excel for Microsoft
Windows. Microsoft Excel users simply load this add-in to use the @Air functions.
* XLAIR32.XLL Air property add-in for Excel for 32-bit versions of Microsoft
Windows. Microsoft Excel users simply load this add-in to use the @Air functions.
* EXAMPLE.XLS a simple example spreadsheet for Excel. It illustrates the use
the @Air functions to solve some typical HVAC problems.
* AFAIR.ADW Air property add-in for 1-2-3 for Windows Release 4 and 5.
It provides @functions which call the functions in the Air Library and
perform all necessary type and error checking.
* AFAIR.12A Air property add-in for 1-2-3 97 for Windows. It provides
@functions which call the functions in the Air Library and perform all
necessary type and error checking.
* EXAMPLE.WK3 a simple example spreadsheet for 1-2-3 for Windows. It illustrates
the use the @Air functions to solve some typical HVAC problems.
* AIR.DLL Air property add-in for Quattro Pro for Windows. There is a
16-bit version of AIR.DLL included to support Quattro Pro 5 and 6 and a 32-bit
version to support Quattro Pro 7. The setup program will install the proper
version. Each add-in provides @functions which call the functions in the
Air Library and perform all necessary type and error checking.
* EXAMPLE.WB1 a simple example spreadsheet for Quattro Pro for Windows. It
illustrates the use the @Air functions to solve some typical HVAC problems.
* EXAMPLE.MCD a simple example Mathcad file which illustrates use of all of
the air functions.
* MCDAIR32.DLL Air property add-in for Mathcad 6.0 Plus. This add-in registers
the air functions and provides error checking and unit conversion.
* ATAIR.INI Initialization file used by @Air.
* VBRUN300.DLL Visual BASIC run time library. Needed to support AIRCALC for
users who do not have Visual BASIC 3.0.
* AIRCALC.EXE Executable file for interactive air property calculator.
* \MSVC Directory which contains all the files needed to interface with
AIRPROPS.DLL and AIRPRP32.DLL from within Microsoft compilers such as Visual C/C++.
* \BORLAND Directory which contains all the files needed to interface with
AIRPROPS from within Borland compilers such as Borland C/C++.
REVISION HISTORY
This software has undergone several revisions since its initial release. These revisions

- Combined 16-bit and 32-bit add-ins into one product which runs under Windows 3.1,
Windows 95 or Windows NT.
