Abstract
The continuous expansion of colleges and universities has increased the number
of students on campus. The demand for teachers and administrators is also increasing.
The workload of daily student attendance management is also increasing. The
traditional attendance management mode of manually counting and signing in has
been unable to meet the needs of current college attendance management. At the same
time, the manually entered attendance management mode will waste a lot of human
and material resources, It is also not convenient for the management and query of
attendance data information. Attendance management is one of the key contents of the
university's educational administration. Through attendance management, we can
timely understand the status of college students, help cultivate students' self-discipline
and self-improvement learning character by combining attendance management, and
combine the needs and importance of attendance management in the university, Using
the Internet platform to develop and design a system for school attendance
management is very demanding space.
This paper combines the current development status of application technology in
colleges and universities, and uses JSP technology to develop and design an online
attendance management system. With the convenience of online platform
interoperability, it realizes the information exchange between students and teachers.
Through the online attendance management system, it realizes online sign in, online
leave and course information viewing functions. At the same time, the background
and feasibility of the system development are described and analyzed in combination
with the research status at home and abroad and the feasibility analysis. The
development and design of the attendance management system is realized through the
construction of the database structure and the application of the system testing link. In
combination with the actual needs of student users and teacher users, efficient
attendance management is realized through the online platform, and the efficiency of
attendance data statistics and management is also improved.
