Bank grid computing Architecture Research based on OGSA
ABSTRACT
Grid computing plays a core role for the grid system to provide services, mainly
consisting of Meta Computing,P2P Computing, Distribute Computing. Such an
computing focuses on Organic combination of so many Discrete computing resources,
so to make those resources a computing system with powerful computing and
coordinating competence. As a basic service industry of informational society of our time,
banks serving billions of clients with services of a great variety every day which often
involve themselves with “business peak” in rush time. In consideration of that, this paper
proposes apply the most popular computing mode--Grid Computing to the bank, and
builds the Bank Gird Computing System based the OGSA with open Grid system, the
system is sharing resources and computing coordination.
The center of the Bank Gird Computing System is the PBC(People Bank of China)
and converges the various computing resources coming from many different banks, such
as servers, host computer and financial mainframe and the like to provide the banks with
full computer resource. The system includes the financial application level, the web level,
the middle level and the resources level in order to correspond, put out and control the
resources in the whole.
Mentioning resource management mechanism in the Bank Grid Computing
System, the concept of „Bank Management Domain‟ is introduced, each one as a
self-controlled computing system. In addition, Bank Management Domain is classified
into the inner area and the out area,the inner area is under resource centralizing
management, while the out area all use RID to publish resource description information.
Self-controlled computing system like these are scattered in position but are under
consistent coordination of the Bank Grid Computing System. After Bank Management
Domain,the second concept of „Banking Resource Pool‟ was introduced about which a
lot of words are pumped into. Such words remark on the detailed portrayal of the
