ThispaperaddressestheproblemofinterferenceawareresourceallocationforOFDMA basedhybridhierarchicalwirelessnetworks.Wedeveloptworesourceallocationalgo- rithmsconsideringtheimpactofwirelessinterferenceconstraintsusingaweightedSINR conflictgraphtoquantifytheinterferenceamongthevariousnodes:(1)interferenceaware routingusingmaximumconcurrentflowoptimization;and(2)rateadaptivejointsubcar- rierandpowerallocationalgorithmunderinterferenceandQoSconstraints.Weexploit spatialreusetoallocatesubcarriersinthenetworkandshowthatanintelligentreuseof resourcescanimprovethroughputwhilemitigatinginterference.Weprovideasub-opti- malheuristictosolvetherateadaptiveresourceallocationproblem.Wedemonstratethat aggressivespatialreuseandfinetuned-interferencemodelinggarneradvantagesinterms ofthroughput,end-to-enddelayandpowerdistribution.
