<li>Lot of ping loss with 64k ping data between AP1 and AP2 with open-WEP or WPA-PSK authentications in WDS link.</li>
<li>When AP is in client mode with MAC clone enabled, WDS profile should be greyed out.</li>
<li>NTP not synchronizing with the default time-b.netgear.com when custom NTP server is not enabled.</li>
<li>Fix for password and config publicly available through HTTP.</li>
<li>Added product registration feature.</li>
<li>Sometimes serial number and model number show junk values.</li>
<li>Configured serial number is not properly updated in the GUI and registration pages.</li>

<li>Sometimes user can't access the GUI after upgrading firmware from 3.1.1 to 3.1.8 or later firmware. The reason was that due to a missing maxWirelessClient parameter in the hostapd config file of the new firmware, hostapd and configd crashes after upgrading to the new firmware. This will prevent the user from logging into the GUI. Now this issue is fixed in this build. <br />

<p><strong><font color="#2462AF">Known Issues</font></strong></p>
<ol>
<li>WEP/WPA pass phrase keys does not work properly on Mozilla Firefox.</li>
<li>Wireless LED does not turn off when RF is disabled.</li>
<li>When the IP address of the access point is changed, the clients on the network have to wait for a while before they can access the new IP address. <br />
In order to access immediately, please flush the netbios cache on the client computer by running the<strong>nbtstat -R</strong> command.</li>
</ol>
<p><strong><font color="#2462AF">To Install</font></strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Write down all the settings which you changed from the default values, since you may need to reenter them manually.</li>
<li>Download using the button below to a convenient place such as your desktop. <br />
Note: You need not extract the download "tar" file. It can be uploaded to the access point as it is.</li>
<li>Login to Web Administration interface of the Access Point - <br />
By default, <strong>http://192.168.0.233</strong> is the Administration URL to the Web GUI. Enter <strong>admin</strong> for the user name and <strong>password</strong> for the password.</li>
<li>Click <strong>Management > Upgrade Firmware</strong>.</li>
<li>Click <strong>Browse</strong> and select the firmware image you just downloaded.</li>
<li>Click <strong>Upload</strong>. <br />
<font color="#FF0000">Do NOT interrupt or power off the computer until the upgrade process is completed. Wait for the router to reboot.</font></li>
<li>After the router boots up, log in the router again. <br />
<font color="#FF0000">You MUST Reset the router to default settings after upgrading the firmware</font></li>
<li>Click <strong>Management > Backup/Restore Settings</strong>.</li>
<li>Click <strong>Restore</strong>. The router reboots when the Erase operation is done.</li>
<li>If you would like to check that the upgrade was successful, log in to the router again at<strong>http://192.168.0.233</strong>, and check the firmware version.</li>
