2. Usage
----------------
This program can be used to monitor any PCSC/CCID smart card readers
on the system and automatically analyze the ATR of any card when it is inserted
into the reader. Next to that an ATR can be entered manually for analysis.
3 versions for different operating systems are included in the installer:
- Windows 98, 98se or ME: ACSAnalyzeATR98.exe
- windows 2000, XP, Vista and higher: ACSAnalyzeATR.exe
- All 64-bit Windows OS: ACSAnalyzeATRx64.exe
Usage of the program:
- Plugin a PCSC/CCID reader and install the appropriate driver.
- Install the application using the installer (if present) or copy the
program to any folder and start it.
Note: if the program is installed using the installer, the program can
be started from the start menu. The default location is:
x:/Program Files/Advanced Card Systems Ltd/ACSAnalyzeATR
(x: is root drive letter)
- Insert a card into the reader, the ATR will be analyzed and the output will
be shown in the output window.
- Alternatively, enter an ATR manually and press 'Analyze' to show the
analysis.
- Press 'About...' to show the about-box.
- Press 'Exit' to exit the program.
